S.C. Mishra is the Managing Director of Keolis Hyderabad Mass Rapid Transit System Pvt. Ltd., where he leads the organization with strategic vision, operational expertise, and a strong commitment to service excellence. With more than four decades of experience in railways, metro systems, and mass rapid transit operations, he brings unparalleled leadership to one of India’s largest urban mobility projects. Mr. Mishra began his career in Indian Railways, serving in senior roles across signalling and telecommunications. Over the years, he held key leadership positions including Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer at Northern Railway, Director at the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO), and Chief Signal and Telecom Engineer at Western Railway and SEC Railway. His tenure in these critical roles helped shape advancements in railway signalling, telecommunications, and operational reliability across the network. Expanding his expertise into metro operations, he served as Director – Maintenance at Metro One Operation Pvt. Ltd. (a member of RATP Dev Transdev France) and later as Head of Maintenance at Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. He subsequently joined Keolis Hyderabad as Chief Technical Officer in 2020 before assuming the role of Managing Director. His leadership has been pivotal in strengthening operations, enhancing maintenance practices, and embedding international best practices in Hyderabad Metro Rail. An alumnus of the University of Allahabad, Mr. Mishra holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication, earned between 1978 and 1981. His robust expertise spans railway signalling, systems integration, light rail, and public transport, making him one of the most respected professionals in the sector.
